Take Care Of Yourself

Take Care of Yourself is an animated short film written, directed, animated, edited, and scored by Sara Jane Lessio, produced by Aleo Film. The film runs approximately two minutes and was originally developed as a graduation project.The animation was produced entirely in 2D traditional frame-by-frame technique, using Procreate and After Effects. The original score was composed and performed by the director.The film has been selected at multiple international festivals, including the Future Film Festival (Bologna, 2023), Corti da Sogni Antonio Ricci (Ravenna, 2024), Amarcort (Rimini, 2025), and The Short Film Festival (Târgu Mureș, 2025). In June 2025, it received the Best Social Change award at the Short Film Factory festival in Bucharest.
